This is my first time hosting a swap! Please feel free to message me with questions/comments/concerns if you'd like. For this swap you will have one partner. You will send your partner an altered photo frame. This means take a plain old wood, metal, or plastic photo frame and hand-alter it with beads, paint, ribbon, embellishments, fabric, or anything else you can think of to make a classy, fancy picture frame. Here are some examples:
It is not necessary to include a photo with the frame. If you're looking for a heart you could include a beautiful photo or artwork such as a collage, poem, sketch, or painting! There is no size requirement for the frame but keep in mind that it should be photo-sized... wallet sized, 4x6, 5x7, even 8x10 something like that. Round or oval are fine too. No official spending limit but lets keep costs low. Use scrapbooking scraps and leftovers. Blank frames are sold at most craft stores for under 5 bucks. This swap is senders choice but please put a decent amount of effort into it... make something you would like to display in your own home! Don't just add stickers to a clear plastic frame and call it "altered". Anyone who looks respectable will be let in. No no-sends and newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile. I will check profiles before partners are assigned and ban anyone who looks fishy. I will angel for this swap but flakers will be reported! So don't flake. There is a two week turn-around time so I expect NO late senders! I am limiting this swap to the US because some frames might be a little spendy to ship otherwise. If people are really interested in doing an international one let me know, I'll set one up. Happy swapping! |
