Description:

For this swap, you will get two pen pal partners, and you will all be writing to each other, sort of round-robin, in one journal/notebook which you will send around to each other in a loop.

Each person will have two partners, and once your partners are assigned, e-mail amongst yourselves to determine who will send a journal first, and then continue sending it around in that order.
Each person should have it for no more than a week before sending it on.

I did this a few years ago, and it was really fun, penpalling with two people at the same time!

You can be artistic and embellish the journal and your entries, but you don't have to.

For your first entry, you should include a photo of yourself, and some introductory information, and whatever else you want!

Since this is an international swap, please be thoughtful and don't get really heavy/bulky journals that will cost a fortune to send back and forth.

When the journal is full, you can decides who gets to keep it, or the last person that gets it can keep it and you can start a new one!

How long does each person keep the journal before it needs to be sent to the next person...how many times does it go around?

And who gets to keep the journal when it's full? This is a good idea, but I see too many loop holes to "flake"

i have been looking for something like this for ages!! :D

Thanks for the questions--I edited the swap a bit! Each participant should have it for no more than a week, it can go around for as long as you like, and when it's full, you can start a new one!

What an awesome idea! :D Maybe, since there are two partners, you could pick one to end up keeping and one to let your other partner keep. If everyone did that then everyone should get to keep at least one?

it's lovely!!!! I join in =) But I'm afraid of flackers! =((( So, please, be nice!

Oh the idea is gorgeours. I hoped that I could find such a great swap at the very beginning! I promise to do my very best and I am glad about writing to two new pals out there!

I just joined. I hope that is ok since I am a newbie. I think this swap is a great idea. But who ever becomes my partners don't think I will flake if I don't answer you this weekend. I have a seminar where I probably have no internet access or maybe just email through my iPod. I will check my messages as soon as I get home on Sunday.

So, I am confused, are we all going to be in three circles? I am not sure I can do that with postage costs. Please explain this again, I got an email from a girl in Germany, but my listed partners are from finland and UK, so, does this mean I do both?
Also, I think we should limit the journals to the wired bound kind you get in the office supply store, or another idea is the single moleskin kind you can get that also have flimsy covers that don't weigh a lot, They come three to a pack. Even a composition book would be ok, but the covers are a little heavy. Just ideas.
Thanks, Holly

I think that you should add a note of who the journal should be sent to next. Since we all have different parents. This way, we know who we send to next.
