THIS IS A CHALLENGE SWAP, WHAT'S THAT? Hi Everybody! This time around I would like us to have a challenge. The Bible commands us to go out and share The Good News with others and so with that in mind this swap we’ll make 2 cards for each partner but I want both cards to be the same verse (you can decorate them differently but use the same verse on each card). Reason why, is because once you get your cards you’ll take one of the duplicate cards and your challenge is to find someone you can share that card with. Whether you give it to an unbelieving neighbor or slip it into the birthday card of a struggling Christian, whomever and however you share the card is up to you. So we send 2 cards to 3 people each and when all is said and done we’ll get 6 cards (3 we keep and 3 we’ll give to other people to share The Good News).

You don’t have to send the same verse to each of your three partners but whatever verse you use for each partner you will make 2 cards with that one verse on each. Got it? Any questions just ask.

WHAT IS IT? This is a swap for Christians that enjoy reading, memorizing, meditating and praying scripture. What we're doing is starting a collection of decorated scripture cards; you can buy an index card file box at an office supply store and keep your cards in it.

HOW DO YOU DO IT? Using 3" X 5" index cards (colored or white cards, ruled or unruled cards is up to the sender what type of card to use). You may use regular cardstock cut to the 3" X 5" guidelines too if you prefer not to use index cards.

On one side of the card write the scripture including the reference information (book, chapter and verse) and which Bible version you're using (NIV, KJV, etc.,). Make it legible, if your handwriting is hard to read that's okay just type it out and glue it on. If you have rubber stamps with scriptures on them then you can use them too.

On the other side of the index card you can leave it blank or you can write the same scripture using a different version. For example: You may write a verse on one side from the NIV and then on the other side of the index card write the same verse using the KJV.

To decorate you may paint, draw or use stickers, rubber stamps, etc., and make a nice border around the verse(s) or you can put the verse on one side and use the other side to make an inspirational or cheerful picture.

HOW OFTEN WILL I POST NEW SWAPS IN THIS SERIES? Once a month won out in the survey I took on how often people wanted this swap to happen. So if you voted for it make sure you sign up for it. :D

WHO CAN SIGN UP? Newbies welcome, as we all have to start somewhere. Everyone else must have high numbers to join. If you seem fishy then I reserve the right to ban you, as I want everyone in the swap to be committed to getting the scripture cards done and mailed out. Enjoy!

MAY YOU BE BLESSED THIS MONTH AND MAY YOU BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS!
