Calling headache and migraine sufferers:

Let's make a small 'feel better/perk-up' package for our fellow sufferers.

I know when I'm in pain, I want to close the curtains and curl up to hide, and when I finally come out of it I need something to perk me up like a nice mug of tea.

Some people have different methods for dealing with the pain, and the different levels of pain. No sharing of medications, please! :) But let's make a caring package for when we're down & out and for when we're finally reviving.

Put in your favourite tea (or other beverage) you want to share with your partner (please take his/her preferences to mind), or herbal sachets for a bath or under the pillow, fun fuzzy socks, an eye mask, maybe even one of those stress dollies that have eyes that pop out (since headaches/migraines are sometimes stress related) or one of those cool old fashioned ice bags.

Put in at least 5 items, but feel free to spoil your partner, in the care package. Items should total $10-15 before sending. Include a little note about the items and let your partner know why you chose them for him/her.

Please list any allergies here or anything that could/would trigger a migraine so your partner can avoid it!

Also, keep in mind that some countries have mailing restrictions, such as Australia, so peek over at export/import rules for items before sending it on--we'd hate for it to get rejected and cause a headache!! If anyone wants to make it regional to their own countries, feel free to copy and paste and make your own. :)

Great swap idea! Just a little expensive for me at the moment. If I didn't have other swaps in the works, I'd definitely do it as I had a migraine the day before yesterday (first in ages). :(

I completely understand about the price. I'll definitely redo this swap in the coming months. Bummer about the migraine, they really do suck!

I may just have to join in.....they are a bear. Some idea to keep cost down, maybe a homemade pillow the super soft ones cause everything hurts. A special soft cloth you can wet to ease pain...instead of the old stand by wash cloth. Oh your favorite music to take you away.... ;0) (mine is sounds of nature). Even a nice soft blanet to cuddy up in (all those little fleece blanket you get a Christmas and personalize them). Mediation ideas, sun glasses, food to stay away from that trigger migrains. You will be surprised how many things you can find in your home for the sachets. I will have to look threw my books and post later if your hostess does not mind. The ideas are endless recycle, upcycle. I am sorry I am running away at the mouth....LOL. I just hate my migrains and try to share ideas to help.

Definitely, share ways to get rid of migraines. @panda1957 homemade items are definitely welcome! A nice soft pillow or cozy blanket! Love is always a good way to help ease the stress of a migraine, if only knowing someone cares (granted, it doesn't take them away, but it's nice to know!)!

I couldn't agree more with you ladies :) I'm allergic to painkillers so I usually have other ways to ease the pain :) Happy Swapping everyone!
