Inchies: For beginners

How many per partner?

Lets do 2 per partner. If you would like to do more, than please do. :)

I love inchies! I've been hoping someone would host another inchie swap. Do it monthly! I don't collect them like people do ATC's, but use them in other crafts and love to have a supply on hand of different styles.

oh i like the ones on the pictures.. i think i'll sign up and see if i'm feeling ambitious. i avoid atcs because i feel i'd get very very obsessed with them... i think inchies would make great magnents.. :)

they make perfect magnets! we have loads on our fridge... mainly curtesy of the kids...wld be good to have some "grown up" ones! I will have to control myself to only make 2...they are strangely addictive!

Can't we send more though? I find once I've made one I want to make more... and as they are tiny and lightweight they wouldn't cost much to mail overseas if there were say, 5.

If you would like to send more than 2, you are definately more than welcome to do so. For those of us that are just starting out, I figure this will allow us the chance to get our feet wet and develope some skill. :)

If everyone wants to send more, then we can definately raise the minimum.

Or there will just be a ton of hearts given!!!! hahahahaha
I say leave it as is and let the hearts fly! :)

I'm joining hoping the minimum will stay low to keep expectations and pressure relatively low. Then anything beyond that would be a lovely surprise,

I really want to get involved in this art form but the early part of August for me is already very full. Please, Please, Please would you be willing to start hosting one of these a month and put the due date more toward the middle of the month. I will definitely join.

When I measured this out it sure seemed SMALL!!!!

The size is 1 inch by 1 inch. :)

MAN! That just seems so small!
That means I can make 99 out of the art piece I just did.

I'm in, I just bought a punch today that is 1x1 to make more of these "inchies", I love 'em.

Just curious, how do people like to use their inchies? I guessed the magnet idea, and I bet they'd be a great scrapbook embellishment... but what else???

Just found this swap! Only 3 more days left to sign up! I love these and they are ADDICTIVE!!! I'm definitely sending more than 2 per person. I use them on everything: art pages, ATCs, cards, scrapbook pages, artbooks, etc.

Oh, yeah, and if you REALLY want to put some time into them, cover the finished piece with Ultra Thick Embossing Powder and put a pin back on if to wear on hats or collars. :)

Wanda Wow...thank you for my very first inchies! Above and beyond the amount even :P Thank you also for the Papers too. Great partner. These are a lot of fun but I think I like working on the ATC's better because there is more room. It was really challenging coming up with something that would fit in such a tiny spot.

Granny's Namesake , Tillie Messer and Alisa Abrenica, I missed yesterday's mail collection but they are in the postbox waiting for today's. I'm not sure when that will be as we are still in the middle of the 2 weeks of strike disruption, but they are promising there will still be a collection every day from the boxes outside the POs such as the one I use.

Sent mine yesterday - hopefully the postal strike won't hold them up too long! And already received my first set - thanks 12tr21!
