Description:

We are coming up on the Edibles Swappers International's SECOND birthday, and what a fun two years it has been! So let's all celebrate our special day with a birthday package swap. We will be sending each other a birthday-party-in-a-box brimming with cheer.

We will:

  • Send one edible for your partner to enjoy. It can be a party-appropriate food or just something special you think your partner would like.

  • Send something to help your partner have her own party, such as birthday napkins or plates, a party hat, or something else fun!

  • Send a profile surprise (edible or not). Wrap it up nicely as if for a birthday gift.

  • Include a birthday card with a note written inside. The card may be store-bought or nicely handmade.

  • Spend approximately $8-$10 (6-7.5 Euros) on the swap in addition to the birthday card, wrapping paper, and shipping. The swap is not required to be in a box if it can be safely packaged in a bubble mailer.

  • Let's make this birthday swap a WOW! swap for your partner. Please send a quality package with happy birthday wishes. :-)

This is a higher stakes swap, so I will be particularly careful in checking profiles. Please be aware that you will be banned from the swap if you have any unexplained or questionable 1s or 3s (PM me with more info if necessary or make sure that you have ratings responses posted). I also check to make sure that there are NO overdue swaps before assigning partners.

The usual rules also apply:

  • Send foods in commercially sealed packaging for health and customs reasons. Be sure to check expiration dates before sending.

  • Be courteous by sending our swaps on time and rating our partners when we receive. In the rare circumstance that you must be late, it is expected that you will contact both your partner and the swap host.

  • Package your swap appropriately to protect the contents. Zip-top baggies are smart for containing unexpected breaks and leaks. Boxes rather than envelopes should be used for fragile items. For example, chips, crackers, and cookies are all easily broken if not sent in a box. Semi-liquid, jarred items often pop their seals and leak in transit. Glass jars should be carefully wrapped and boxed. Even powdered things such as hot chocolate or sauce mixes can make a mess; so please put these in a plastic baggie or something similar to protect your package. We all appreciate the efforts taken to keep our swaps enjoyable!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EVERYONE!

I bumped the send-by date back two days, since I took a couple of days to assign partners. Feel free to send early if it works better for you! :-)
