Description:

You will send 10 postcards to your partner in an envelope. These must be new, unused postcards that you would buy in a store. They must not be ad cards, hand made cards, free postcards that you might get, but must be nice cards that you would want to add to a postcard collection. They should be what's known as "continental" size, or 4x6 inches, with no bends. They should be mailed to your partner in a notecard or greeting card large enough to protect the cards from the ravages of the postal service.

Suggested topics to send include nature scenes, animals, city scenes, ocean scenes, "greetings from...", state themes (capitols, state birds, state flag, maps), national parks, famous people, etc. Please do not send joke cards (outhouses, fake animals like jackalopes), nudity, hot topic character cards.

The hostess is not responsible for angeling flaked swaps. No one with recent 1s or 3s will be accepted and the hostess WILL be checking previous feedback and reserves the right to ban people with less than stellar ratings. However, since we all have to start somewhere, newbies with well completed profiles will be admitted. Experienced swap-botters MUST have a rating of 4.9 or higher. Sorry about the rules and regs but I'm just trying to protect swappers.

we have to write something on the postcards, or leave them blank to allow our partner to use them?

In swaps like this, they are left blank so your partner can either put them in their postcard collection or add them to their stash for other swaps. . . that's why they are sent in an envelope. It's a great way to get new postcards into your stash or collection ~~ most people try to send at least a couple or more based on their partner's profile if they have indicated they collect a particular type of PC.
