Description:

Hi! I've recently become obsessed with tea. In this swap, you will send two partners a minimum of 5 teabags (feel free to send more!). This is a great way to try out new teas!

Please, don't send the regular teas, like green tea or english breakfast, or earl grey... send something unique or interesting flavoured. Examples would be cinnamon apple tea, chocolate hazelnut tea, rose hip tea, vanilla chai tea... Something with an interesting flavour that your partner might not have tried if you hadn't sent it to them!

If you have any allergies or health concerns (like you're allergic to a certain kind of tea, or can't have caffeine, or something) please list below, and partners try to be sensitive to these requests.

Thats 5 tea bags x 2 partners = 10 tea bags total.

This is international, since tea bags are small and easy to send. :) No newbies, please. 4.6 or higher - no exceptions. I'm tired of flakers. I'll check out all profiles and ban whoever looks fishy. Above all - have fun!!!

Anyone tried the Twinings brands?

I'm allergic to grapefruit! (And sensitive to caffeine, so although tea is usually fine (unlike coffee and cola), please don't pick up a "Super extra-caffeinated Head-blowing WOW Tea" specially for me grin)

Have several lovely teas in mind. May we also either make our own tea bag from some muslin or sned one of the little metal loose-tea dippers if we have a particularly interesting loose tea?

I never thought about homemade tea bags - feel free to do it if you think it'll survive the shipping process, and will work and be something your partner would want to receive. :)

Hi! I'm allergic to citric acid but can have peach, pear, banana, apples, and watermelon.

Am I following correctly, loose leaf tea is allowed as long as we supply tea sacks for brewing?

CandyStar 07/21/2007 #

Yes, as long as you are sure that an idiot like me who has only ever used tea bags can just stick it in a cup and add water and it'll work.... you can send loose tea. Haha.

-Jesse ... is loose tea ignorant

Posted today, although no loose tea teabgs in the end ... no muslin on hand and a large enough selection of pre-bagged teas!
