Here are the directions I found,, Give your cards your own background designs... you may use any background technique... crumpling a paper towel or a square of plastic cling wrap into a loose ball. Pounce the ball onto an ink pad or into a small dollop of acrylic paint on a paper plate. Tap the ball onto a piece of scrap paper to remove the excess ink or paint, and then press it onto the background paper several times without re-inking to create subtle variations in shade and texture. Use the same technique to stamp with bubble wrap, burlap or fabric mesh. But I did some playing around with this technique... I found that watercolors and food coloring works great for the colors... and I found that by wetting chalk and dragging it across your paper with a baby wipe or something that is slightly damp worked well.... Also I discovered this one ..take a stamp inked very heavy, press onto your paper then drag it,It looks kind of shadowy.. Open media Sorry I didn't notice that I forgot this,.,it is 1 for 1 and if you know or discover a good background technique post it below in the comments so we can learn something new.. Also if know you of any techniques that we could try contact me... |
