For this swap you will make a postcard collage of at least six different things that make you happy. 1 postcard to 1 partner. Sender's choice to mail as postcard or in envelope.

  • Visually display to your partner the things, places, items, activities, etc... that you enjoy in life that make you happy.

  • Minimum of 6 things that make you happy. Try to fit as many as you can.

  • The collage items can be anything... cut outs from magazines or photographs, computer printouts, drawings, ticket stub, candy wrappers...

  • Start with a blank postcard sized piece of card stock, or begin with one of your favorite postcards, or an ad card that works for you and go from there.

This is a fun way to learn a little bit about your partner and what brings them happiness. :-)

Howdy Ginger: What's the best way to make a collage? I am new at this. Do you have any favorite brands of stuff (decoupage, shellac, fingernail polish) to cover/protect the pictures and other items included in the collage? I'd like a smooth coating that does not curl the postcard paper. Thanks for any suggestions and assistance that you can provide. Jennifer in Chicago

Hi RecipePC -

I plan to use ModPodge but it might tend to curl the paper.

Anybody else have suggestions?

Thanks!
