Your task is to find a vintage or antique tea cup and saucer (saucer optional), sugar bowl (can be silverplate) or creamer (can be small cream pitcher) to alter into a beautiful pin cushion. You could use velvet, ribbons, small silk flowers, vintage corsages, embroidery thread, sequins, beads etc. to alter the vessel into a fabulous and beautiful pin cushion that anyone would be proud to use. If you have an alternate container you'd like to use, please pm me for approval. You must use pretty fabric to cover your stuffing, and at least one of the optional items lace, beads, flowers etc. to complete the swap. Must have at least 4.9 rating with no 1's or 3's. Please don't join if you don't plan to complete the swap requirements. Put a note in with your creation to explain what materials you used and why, or what they mean/remind you of. Think Victorian, Somerset style...Think ecclectic, bohemian, gorgeous! It's ok if the cup/pitcher etc. has a little chip or two, or crack, that gives it more character, just no large broken out or cracked pieces please. Let's all enjoy and have fun with this. |
