Description:

@Panykattack had an awesome idea for a journal swap and here is the international version of that same swap!!! Thank you so much Panykattack for coming up with an awesome list of themes!

For this swap you will be creating a journal for your partner that will have 31 entries. Journals can be store bought or handmade. Entries can be text only, art only, or a combo of both. To each their own creativity! There are 31 themes listed below. Create an entry for each theme in any order (though #1 should be first) using any media. If you are not able to hand-write yours, typing on a computer and then pasting into the journal is perfectly acceptable.

To participate in this swap you MUST meet the following qualifications.

NO 3's in the last 3 months.

NO newbies. Sorry.

You must have completed at least 10 'Type 3' swaps. The only exception to this is if you received a 5 rating in the original Theme-a-Day journal swap.

You must not be late on any other swaps by the sign-up deadline for this one.

You must have signed in within a week of assigning partners.

All participants must have a rating of 4.9 or higher.

I reserve the right to ban anyone I believe will not hold up their end of the swap or will otherwise be a bad swapper. I will be checking all profiles thoroughly after the sign-up date and banning anyone who doesn't meet these qualifications. No exceptions. I promise I will be incredibly strict with these rules simply because so many people have been burned by the last one. I want people to have a good experience with this. This swap is international so be aware shipping be be a bit more.

As this is not profile-based, except the last entry, you can start working on these right away. I am allowing six weeks from date of partner assignment.

The Themes

  • Write about yourself. Include a photo if possible.

  • List three celebrity crushes. Why do you like them?

  • What holiday traditions do you most look forward to?

  • If you could live anywhere you wanted, where would that be? Why?

  • What did you want to be when you grew up?

  • What made you feel good this week?

  • Write about your first job.

  • Leaf through some magazines and cut out images that grab your attention. Paste them into the journal.

  • What are some of your idiosyncrasies or quirks?

  • If you could design one room in your house to suit only your needs, what would it look like?

  • You have an extra $100,000 to give away. You cannot spend it on yourself. What do you do with it?

  • If you could have lived in another era which would you choose?

  • Write down the lyrics to a song that has a strong memory attached to it. Share the memory if you want.

  • What are 5 of your pet peeves and why do they bother you?

  • Write about the most memorable party you've ever attended.

  • Talk about swap-bot. What do you love about it? What do you NOT love about it?

  • Using a photo of yourself, create an amusing personal ad.

  • What is something you collect OR what is something you collected as a child?

  • What do you find beautiful? Write about it or portray it through art.

  • Create a track list of 10 songs your partner should listen to. Include artist and song title.

  • You get to create a new flower. Describe what it looks like, smells like, feels like. What kind of insects are attracted to it?

  • What is your favorite month and what do you love about it?

  • Let out your inner child. You pick a topic, but only crayons or markers are allowed!

  • Write about someone who has changed your life, for good or bad.

  • Write about your significant other. If you don't have one, describe what you would look for in one.

  • You have the chance to take an all-expenses-paid roadtrip. Where do you go? What do you do?

  • It's your last meal. What's for dinner?

  • Write a letter telling someone something you wished you'd always told them but never did.

  • Write a fan letter to your favorite actor/author/sports figure/celebrity.

  • What's the best present you've ever received?

  • Write a profile-based letter to your partner.

If anyone has any questions or thinks I've left something out please PM me. This swap is going to RULE. I promise!!

I had so much fun with the last theme-a-day journal swap, this is definately on my watch-list.

Of all the Theme-A-Day journals I've seen, I really like this one. The themes are really fun. I've actually started the journal, but will continue to watch, just in case I find I can't really commit by the sign-up date. Thanks for some fun ideas.

I am so sorry about that guys!!!

Nah you dont! A profile based letter is basically a letter to your partner talking about something from their profile.
