Description:

THIS IS THE MODERN EDITION OF A TRADITIONAL CHARM SWAP. DO YOU PREFER TO RECEIVE MODERN QUILT FABRICS? ARE YOU JUST NOT INTO THE CIVIL WAR, COUNTRY, OR NOVELTY FABICS? THIS SWAP IS FOR YOU. NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED BY A SWAP CHARM PACKAGE AGAIN.

Each participant will be have 2 partners and mail TWENTY 6" x 6" fabric charms to each partner.

You can send up to two 6" charms from the same fabric, which means that you will need a minimum of 10 different fabrics from which to cut your squares. However, if you'd prefer, you can send 20 different charms or a combination of some different and some pairs. But please, no more than two 6" charms alike.

ALL MEMBERS WHO JOIN PLEDGE TO SEND ONLY MODERN, CONTEMPORARY FABRICS FROM THE SUGGESTED LIST BELOW.

WHEN IN DOUBT PLEASE ASK!!

YOU WILL HAVE 2 WEEKS TO CUT YOUR FABRIC AND MAIL IT TO YOUR PARTNERS.

Here's some fine print:

1.All Fabric must be Quilt Shop Quality, 100% cotton.

2.Please try to be very careful when cutting to make sure your squares are straight and 6 x 6 square.

3.PLEASE SEND WHAT YOU WANT TO RECEIVE!!

Due to the requirements of this swap, all newbies must have a 5.0 with at least 3 rated snail mail swaps under their belts.

For seasoned swappers you must have a rating of 4.8 or better with no 1 ratings...NONE! If you have a multitude of 3 ratings, please PM me before signing up and I will make a decision then to include you or not.

Even though we don't allow JoAnn store brand fabric. You can still occasionally find some quality nane brand fabrics there. Don't be discouraged. I saw some great Heather Ross FQ bundels last week.

I get lots of questions about why I chose 6" charms. I created the swap with 6" charms because it gets everyone involved a little more. If you have to pick fabrics and cut them rather than throwing 5" precuts together the package will be more meaningfull. Put some thought into this folks!
