I'm starting this swap just in time for Halloween! For years now, I've been carving pumpkins to the Beetlejuice soundtrack, on repeat, for about 2 hours. Well....that was fun, but I'd like a new perspective, so lets swap Halloween Mix CDs with spooky, creepy songs on them. Now for the specs: -15 songs minimum. It shouldn't be that hard to think of more. -Track Lists required. This isn't hard either. -No "kiddie" songs, If you are saddened by this, you are more than welcome to start your own swap. This should be freaky and scary, sort of. -NO "SATAN WORSHIPING" bands/songs. I'm sure you don't like other religious beliefs pressed upon you either. Also, if you are saddened by this, by all means, start your own swap. -No "no-sends" in the last two months. I don't care about your rating, as long as you are at showing that you are trying to make up for past indiscretions. -International Friends totally welcome. It barely costs more to send a CD than a letter. -Make one (1) mix CD and send it to two (2) partners. -HAVE FUN AND GET FREAKY! If I missed anything, please let me know. I don't host often.

I can go two ways with this - either a mix of dark ambient/soundscape stuff ala Lustmord and Hafler Trio, or a not-safe-for-kids but still "fun" mix with Nick Cave, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, etc. The first option will be freakier and scarier, but may not be to everyone's taste. You pick, partners!

So I just want to make sure - these songs can just be kind of creepy or do they all have to specifically mention Halloween?

i dont think a specific mention of halloween is needed, then we would more than likely be running into the kids song category of things. I think a mix of songs that are creepy/ get you into a spooky place would be fine.

I love Halloween! I have a party every year and have a pretty large mix that I play. I am excited to get some new music and share some of my mix.

i think fun creepy is okay, just try to stay away from "kiddy" thats really my only goal
