Description:

What I would like to do: run a couple of swaps to achieve a quilt in the end.

The basics: You will make one quilt/ patchwork block for each partner measurements 4 x 4 inch. Make sure your finished quilt/patchwork/applique block measures 4.5 x 4.5 inch so your partner can put it together.

Subject and color will be stated in the swap requirements every time.

Theme #3 : Tree Color: Green (no autumn or
         winter tree)

I will check profiles before assigning partners.
Newbies welcome but please PM me. Minimum
  rating of 4.7 required.

In the end we all will have a unique swap quilt.

This swap was started by Nathalie, but she needed someone to take over so here it is.

Thanks, SewFun, for stepping up. :)

No problem, anything for a quilt block swap!

Thank you for taking over, I was beginning to think my quilt would not happen - you can't even make a cushion with just 4 blocks!!

Anyone have any suggestions on the next round, as far as theme?

I had two thoughts, leaves, and birds.

BlueLeaf 08/26/2007 #

Will I screw up your numbers if I join now, at number three?

SewFun 08/29/2007 #

Blue Leaf,

Go ahead and join, everyone will still get the same number of blocks. You'll just get two as well. :) So, welcome!

Missamy and Vee, your blocks are in the post from UK

Do you plan to run any more in this series? If there is some reason as to why you cannot, how about if each of us run just one? That way the quilt will be completed without too much stress on one person. What do other swappers think? As too other subjects - flowers, stars, hearts or fish.

Sorry, that last message should start 'Hi Laura' !!

I've finished my blocks and they will mail tomorrow. So Juju and Toryam, be on the look out.
