Dollar store package swap- newbie friendly! EDITED

OMG!! I was sitting here at my desk thinking about starting the same swap!!!!!!!!!! LOVE it! Is this strictly for newbies only? Happy Swapping!

I cant get out of the dollar store with out spending A LOT of dollars--I am addicted and have things to share with my partner--I hope that my partners profile will encourage a full package!

It is for newbies and established swappers alike! And certainly if you'd like to include an extra that's fine, but definately not required!

Thank you for post about regifting something if you don't like it...I wonder sometimes if everyone on this site has read the FAQs and knows they are not suppose to rate according to like or dislike of something they received on time and meets all requirements.

2.What are the rating criteria? There are only three different rating criteria: I got my stuff and it met posted swap requirements (5 points); I got my stuff, but it didn't meet the posted swap requirements (3 points); I never got anything (1 point). Keep in mind that you are NOT rating your partners on whether or not you liked what you received, only on if it met the requirements of the swap. The fun thing about swaps is that you never know what you are going to get, and that means that sometimes you may not be thrilled with what you receive. Also, remember that everyone (including the person you are rating) can see who you are and what ratings and comments you gave. It is important to rate participants honestly, but it is also good to be kind even if you have to give someone the lowest rating

Thank you for posting this. All too many times I see people rating badly because they didn't like what someone picked for them. Everyone's taste is different. Swap-bot is meant to be fun. It also bothers me that people can take from others and do nothing in return, and it doesn't seem to bother them. (flakers)... I believe everyone deserves at least one fair chance. Hence the swap. Happy swapping everyone!

Whoot Whoot! A great reason for me to go back into the Dollar store and find something to purchase. You just have to love this store full of treasure.

I do encourage purchasing delivery confirmation for your package at the post office. For around 80 cents you'll have proof of mailing and proof of receipt of your partner's package.

I am new and I love the Dollar Tree, so this sounds like it's right up my alley! :o)

Hopefully nobody gets greedy and flakes on this swap. Make sure you wait the 2 weeks after, then send them an email, if they don't respond in a reasonable amount a time, then leave the appropriate rating.

What does "greedy" and "flake" mean? (I am new.)

greedy- receives their swap from their partner, but does not send their swap, so their partner gets "flaked " on, or never recives anything. AKA someone who takes, takes, takes, but doesn't give back.

How do I know where to mail my dollar store purchase? I had a stroke 6 mo ago and am beginning to use a walker. Wed. befor last I fell, today is the 1st time I could get upstairs to the puter to read email.

Hey, @shabbypink I am partners with a swapper who is also in this swap, for another swap, "Thrift Store Find #4", and she totally flaked on me, and won't answer my messages, so you might want to get in touch with her, if you have her email address..(I don't, since I was the recipient....(or, non-recipient, more accurately!)

her swap bot name is @theflowergirl .so, whoever got her as a partner, I am pretty sure they won't be getting a package from her.. Just a head's up, in case she was one of the 4 you haven't heard from...
