Description:
For this swap you will decorate a 32 count (or equivalent) matchbox in the theme of "HELLO KITTY". The outside & inside contents should all be based around Hello Kitty! The inside contents can be a combination of handmade & storebought, just not all handmade. Please make sure it is a great matchbox and that your partner will be happy to receive it! This is sender's choice, but please send items you would be proud of and would like to receive yourself and do be considerate to check your partner's profile for dislikes! You'll have ample time to make your matchbox. Open to all swappers in good standing with at least a 4.9 rating. I will check profiles before assigning partners and I reserve the right to remove swappers that seem questionable. NEWBIES are welcome just make sure you have a filled out profile and are logging into Swapbot on a regular basis. Remember, no one likes a flaker!

you can buy them at any grocery store. There are 32 ct small ones and 250 ct large ones. This swap is for a small 32 ct. They usually come in packs of 10 I think and are around $1.00 so they are pretty cheap. In my grocery store they are in the picnic area where the charcoal, etc. Just ask at your local grocery store or Walmart & you should be able to find them. I know that some Walmart's only have the large ones so it may be better to go to a different grocery store. Also, if you check the swapbot blog there is a template that you can print out onto cardstock and make your own matchbox.

Hi I am interested in this swap but have never made a matchbox before and not sure we can buy them over here. Have just downloaded the template and will have a play with that. The template is for the smaller one so that should be the right size? Any help/more info would be appreciated x

Carolinev237-- yes the template is the correct size. If you go to my swapbot profile and click on my flickr pictures link you can look at the matchboxes I've made to give you a better idea

If someone didn't get a kitty matchbox, I got mine returned unclaimed I emailed my swapper and got no response... So If someone was flaked on or needs a box, I'm happy to send the one i made! :) (can I do this? Lol)
