Description:

This is a more extensive, more difficult candy swap/scavenger hunt. If you are looking for something a bit quicker and less costly, please see my public versions.

I love scavenger hunts and I LOVE candy, so this is the best of both worlds! This would be a great hunt to do with your kids, they have so much fun and it gives them something to do! If you miss out on this round I do plan on doing another one this summer.

THE SWAP

  • You will have 1 partner. In your package you will need at least one piece of candy to fit EACH of the categories below. So even if a piece of candy can fit into multiple categories, it only fulfills 1 type. If you get stumped try checking out the bulk candy section of your local grocery store.

  • the candy does not need to be full-sized, in fact, try to stick to $7-$10 including shipping. This means that even 1 piece from the bulk candy section or a snack size/one bite type of candy will work. Just as long as it is individually wrapped.

  • You will only have a week and a half to send the package out, but since this is not profile based feel free to start hunting before partners are assigned.

  • Please make sure to include a small note stating which requirement goes with what candy.

  • lastly, to compensate for regional un-availability of certain types/flavors, you are allowed to leave out ONE type if you can not find anything. So that means all packages must have AT LEAST 9 pieces of candy.

1-chewy

2-brown, but not chocolate covered

3-raspberry

4-textured (not smooth)

5-something with a center or filling

6-peanut butter

7-on a stick

8- 3-Dimensional round item (so not flat and round, but all the way round, like a golf ball)

9-sour

10-hard, then soft (something firm in texture, but then gets softer as you chew/eat it)

Also, this is senders choice and NOT profile based, so if you get a package that meets all of the categories you MUST rate a "5", even if you do not like the candy!

TO PARTICIPATE

-You must have a rating of 4.85 or better with no unexplained 1's or 3's in the last 6 months.

-You must also have completed and been rated for at least 7 package (type 3) swaps by the deadline date (so get swappin' if you are a couple ratings away!).
