Description:

Two holes, four holes, shank or otherwise, anyone who has a button collection knows buttons totally rule! I'm sure everyone has a few pretties in their collection that they'd be willing to trade out to get some new ones.

For the Nifty Buttons Swap, each swapper will send a handful of buttons to their 2 partners. A handful, in this case, is between 8-12. Use your good sense here, swappers, and send a set of buttons you would be happy to receive. So again, that's 8-12 fun, funky, awesome buttons to two separate partners.

Any questions, feel free to ask away!

I'm sure it would cost very little to post international, most specially because we would be sending just a handful..I'd be willing from the UK. I just dont have the time to start a swap myself..

I would be interested in an international too... and dogfishsmum is right, small packets don't cost much.

Me too1 I'm in U.K. and love buttons!

Fair enough. I sent something to Scotland this morning and it was way cheaper than I was expecting. Changing it up now!

I am UK too and excited to take part in my first swap here! =) Just a silly query but should we/will others be adding small extras to packages? is it expected/normal in this circumstance or should I just stick to buttons and a note etc? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just like to check =)

I don't know what everyone "expects", but I will probably include at least a few extra buttons as 8-12 isn't that many. Maybe a few other lightweight things (like ribbons or embellishments) if I see on my partners profiles that it's something they could/will use. I personally think it's fun to look through my stash and see if I have something that someone else will get better use out of. =)

Yes I agree, thankyou, as I am relatively new to swapping and would hate to disappoint my partner but also don't want to overdo it, I guess It is about using your own judgement and sending something you would be happy to recieve!

@HollyHox You've hit it right on the head :) It's all about sending something you'd love to receive. Tigger is right too, I usually check out my partners profiles to see if I have anything that would delight them. Just use your best judgment and I'm sure it will be excellent.

Thanks for allowing me to take part in my first swap.! I am anxious to get swapping and start some swaps of my own!
