I love diecuts - so many shapes & sizes - but there is just no way I can afford a whole library of punches. So, I always have diecuts on my wishlists etc - then it occurred to me, perhaps we could simply trade diecutting services! For this swap, you must own at least one medium or larger die cut press (1.5" in diameter & up). Your partner will send you up to 50 pages of paper (scrapbooking paper, cardstock, book pages, whatever) to be diecut. You will use your punch(es) to cut their paper, then mail back to her. If desired by your partner, you may choose to do corner punches (on pre-cut pieces) or confetti/smaller punches instead - but this would be only by mutual agreement. The default position is medium & up diecut punches. Shape and size is die-cutter's choice. If you want to correspond re: which sizes & shapes you have, and figure out which ones are helpful, go ahead - but it is NOT required. Regarding the "up to 50 pieces of paper" - this is intended to be a piece of paper that will take 1-2 diecuts. If you send fifty, 12x12's and the press is a 1.5" one, your poor partner will be cutting day & night. The intent is to do approx 50-100 presses of the punch each. Sending deadline indicates the deadline for partners to mail their papers out. It is expected that the punching will be done, and the punches mailed, within ONE WEEK of receipt of the paper. Please communicate with your partner to ensure you all know what's going on. To qualify: please have a minimum rating of 4.85 and no 1s nor 3s in the last 3 months. Must have completed at least five mailed swaps to participate. |
