Words of Wisdom Quote Swap

Looking up a large number of quotes for another swap tonight, I kept coming across more and more that I really liked- and it inspired me to create a swap just for favorite quotes. Not just one quote, but several. And then I thought I should make it something of a challenge.

Here's what you're expected to do for each partner (there will be three)-

1. Find a blank card.

2. Put in five different quotes from five different people, and cite the sources. But these people must be different kinds!

- One must be an author. - One must be a philosopher. - One must be a politician. - One must be a poet. - One must be a simple inspirational quote from any source.

1. Add a poem of whatever length you like.

2. Throw in three extra quotes from whatever source, so long as you really like them.

3. Add a short Japanese poem you find pretty.

4. Share two quotes about your favorite type of pet or animal.

5. Put in the lyrics to a song you really like.

6. Slap in an envelope and mail!

As you can see, this is something of a challenge. The internet is your best tool here, as you can find all of these things easily enough if you look on Google, or some other site like that. Naturally, all these words won't fit simply on the surface of a card, so feel free to include sheets of notepaper in the card.

It's meant to be fun, and to give you a chance to find some amusing sayings you wouldn't have found otherwise, and to share those you really like.

Give a 5 if you get your card, and give a heart if something extra is included, or there are extra quotes, etc. The card does not need to be handmade, that's up to you entirely. As there is a fair bit of research involved, no one with less than a 4.5 rating, and newbies only with a full profile. International, due to low shipping.
