International I walk the labyrinth to meditate and to pray. I love that the labyrinth as a spiritual tool can provide a meaningful experience to people of any, or no, faith. This swap is a low cost labyrinth-themed swap. You will have one partner. Send two homemade or very low cost items to your partner. Try to not spend more than $5 total on your package (before shipping); all homemade items would be perfectly acceptable. Examples of things to send: a homemade finger labyrinth, a postcard or notecard with a labyrinth image, a newspaper or magazine article (nothing printed off the Internet), an inexpensive charm, a piece of art featuring a labyrinth, etc. If you aren't experienced with labyrinths, there are lots of websites out there. Here's one of my favourites to get you started: http://labyrinthsociety.org/ This swap is open to newbies and to experienced swappers who have at least a 4.5 rating. Please keep in mind that this swap is open to people of all religions and spiritual paths; the only requirement is an interest in the spiritual use of labyrinths. If anyone is interested in having a more elaborate and expensive labyrinth swap in the future, please comment below with any requests (e.g., "I would love to participate if it isn't until January", "only if it's under $20", etc.). If there's enough interest, I will set one up under a password that will only be sent to people who expressed an interest and receive a 5 rating in this swap. |
