Description:

For this swap you will fill and decorate a Pringles chip can (regular size) and send it to one partner. I'm always looking for foods to buy that have re-usable packaging. I have mailed several packages in Pringles cans and they are sturdy and fun to decorate. Just decorate the can however you like, cover with paper or stickers, paint, decoupage etc. Fill the can with goodies and make sure the lid is taped on tight, add the address and drop in the mail. How fun to get a tube of goodies in your mailbox! You could include: pens, craft supplies, fabric, stickers, candy, cookies, hand-made items etc. The goodies don't have to be profile based but it's always nice to take a peek at your partner's profile and include a few special things. The value for this swap should be at least $5 before postage. If you would like to sign up please make sure you have a well filled out profile and at least 5 snail-mail swaps (type 2 are OK). Please feel free to message me if you have any questions or need some ideas.

So excited for this swap! Now I have to figure out what kind of pringles I'm gonna be munching on! Fun for sender and receiver!!! :)

It sounds as though we are sending the decorated can unwrapped. Ohh, so much beautiful work banged around in the mail. Nope mine will be wrapped in battle armor.

Just make sure you wipe out the can before you fill it or all the nice things will get ruined. Learned this the hard way.

Good point! I clean mine out with a Clorox or baby wipe. That gets out the crumbs and the greese.

I was sitting staring at the empty Pringles container on my counter today and then I came across this swap ! Sounds like good fortune to me! This promises to be a lot of fun.

do they need to be those taller containters that you share or are they the shorter ones? I assume they are the tall ones because those seem to be more common and the smaller ones aren't tall enough to hold pens

about how much has it cost you to mail these before?

I'm really nervous to join this. The last Pringles can swap I was in, I got flaked on and it was a Christmas swap. I'll put this on my watch list and try to work up my "forgive and forget" philosophy.

I think it was around $5 to mail. I will angel any flakers. It looks like we have a pretty good group so hopefully we won't have to worry about that. :)

I'm so excited for this, I just had my daughter walk up to the store to get some pringles for this! I'm a Raw Foodie so I won't eat them but she was pretty happy! :)
