Hi,

My request is no handmade, thanks.

madhatter76 07/19/2010 #

send anything that comes in 2's? Like salt n pepper shakers...or earrings? Is that what you mean by send anything two?

misscordelia 07/20/2010 #

madhatter76 - Maybe the user's profile can be a guideline for you to choose the items to send ;)

So this one is "Send Anything Round Two" swap, right ?

magpie55 07/21/2010 #

It says handmade is welcome, totally sender's choice. I would definitely be doing handmade so I won't join as there are 2 folks saying they would refuse what the rules say are ok. I hope I am not being rude, but it seems to me that the coordinator's rules are what should prevail.

Sunflowercc 07/22/2010 #

I can't agree more with magpie55

MommyKnows 07/22/2010 #

agreed... if you don't like the swap conditions you simply don't join, or make your own swap with the conditions you desire

neca84 07/23/2010 #

how rude !!!!!!!!!!! like people on here cant make anything to etsy standards .

I too say dont join if you dont want hand made,

tessalou 07/23/2010 #

It is very rude and I have an etsy store, an ebay store and I sell a craft sells and market days here very often. I am joining and will be sending handmade whether my partner likes it or not....If they don't like the swap requirements drop from the swap now. I am in a really bad mood by nobody wanting handmade or religious and that is what swapbot is about. Don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but this is really childish and inconsiderate to other crafters. My handmades cost more than $3 before postage anyways. I hope everyone understands that I just needed to vent. And I am sorry about any hurt feelings I caused. I am truly sorry.

lissaclaire 07/23/2010 #

tessalou: you shouldn't be sorry!

this is a sender's choice swap. if you get handmade and you don't like it, pass it along to someone else! ...and that DOES NOT mean that the person that sent it should be rated anything less than a 5. in fact, because they made it, i'd rate with a heart as well.

good grief.

Blueeyes1971 07/24/2010 #

when are you going to asign the partners

Peacewytch 07/24/2010 #

Oh my, coordinator's not been on for a week...and the swappers are squabbling..I'm staying out of this one!

LilyLestrange 07/24/2010 #

Wow, that's really rude. Handmade is just as good and often better than factory made! Some people are just ungrateful and want something they're more likely to resell.

Btw, @tessalou some people aren't religious and don't want religious things being sent to them. If it's in the swap requirements then it's ok. I'm an atheist and I'd be as offended by being sent something religion-related as a Christian would be if I sent them a bit of toilet paper with Jesus' face on it.

Naeco 07/25/2010 #

Okay. This is a Send ANYTHING swap. You may REQUEST that you don't get something handmade, but that doesn't guarantee that what your partner sends won't be handmade. It is entirely up to the sender.

Naeco 07/25/2010 #

Also, sorry for being away for so long, I didn't realize that I set the date so close to my college courses sign up. But no worries, I'm back.
