Get ready for a card making challenge everyone - the best part about this swap is we all vote on the best card! Now that is Group participation at its best! One person will get a prize after all votes are in. After you make your card - email me a picture by the send date, I will post it, and everyone can go and vote on which card they like best. Send to:

My email is : [email protected]

For this swap, you will make five handmade different cards: 2 - Birthday Cards, 1- Summer themed Card, 1- Notecard (just decorated is fine), and 1- Get Well or Thinking of you Card. Envelopes should be included. Cards are not to be smaller than a 3" x 4" or larger than a 5 "x 7".

It is up to you as for placing a phrase inside; however, please place Happy Birthday or birthday theme, Thank you, Get Well or Thinking of You on the note card somewhere - just a decorate and/or place a hello on the outside of each respective card.

Cards can use a variety of mediums to decorate with (stamps, ribbon, buttons, brads, embellies, and so on). Don't use plain stickers and call it done. ALSO - you need to place matts or use cardstock paper which is heavier than copy paper. Each card should have a couple layers of cardstock. Mix it up a bit so your partner has some quality cards to send out to friends or family.

No recent 1s, 3s or no-sends please pm me to discuss.

Have fun.

I would have joined if there was some wiggle room on the birthday cards. I don't celebrate birthdays for religious reasons so I can neither make them or send them. Bummer. Maybe all hello or thinking of you or generic sentiments one time?

Well hun, if you are my partner, all note cards and such would be perfectly fine. I like to make my own personal Bday cards, and I love note cards! ^^

I will amend the swap to allow a time frames for contacting your partner to accommodate everyone's needs. Sound good? Hope this helps. I really want everyone to have fun.

I don't celebrate birthdays either. (I can pass along a birthday card to someone that does.) I would have no problem making different cards for my partner if they don't celebrate something or would prefer to have more of one type or another. :)

If we were to all ask our partners what kinds of cards they would prefer, that would work wouldn't it? At least for the Birthday themed ones, as Summer and GWS cards aren't an issue, (I'm sure?) But to that special swapper that gets me as thier partner, I would prefer Blank Notecards instead of the Bday ones, thankyou so much!

Glad this is such a wonderful group of swappers! I think this will make it more fun to receive - especially when it is something you know you will love. Have fun

Hey! Are we gonna get our partners soon? I wanna start crafting! ^^

rayfancy 08/ 2/2010 #

Also, for the challenge part, do we pick our "best" one or do we take pictures of all 5 and send it to you??

TheCraftaholic 08/ 3/2010 #

Hey there, when are we getting partners? I'm ready to send!

1Scrapper 08/ 6/2010 #

Sorry for the partner delay - I was experiencing computer troubles.

Rayfancy - take a picture of them all if you like and it gives you more chances to win! Good luck everyone!
