I just got my first bento box and I'm kind of addicted. I didn't see any other bento swaps so I thought I'd start one. For this swap you will send at least 15$ worth of bento box goodies to one partner. Send 3 items minimum. At least one should be something to eat, and at least one should be a bento accessory (sauce bottles, divider cups, picks, egg molds, small cookie cutters, chopsticks, etc.), and also include one recipe for something tasty to pack in a bento. If you have any food allergies or dislikes please post them in the swap comments. New swappers and swappers with a rating of 4.5 or above only. If you see someone who is a bad swapper under a new name, please let me know and I will remove them from the swap.

I can not eat eggs, dairy, chocolate or caffeine (coffee, black tea, herbal tea is fine). I dislike nori, durian, and umeboshi. I like or am willing to try just about anything else!

YEah! A Bento Swap that doesn't require you to have access to actual Bento Boxes!
Picks, mold, cookie cutters-these I have access to get!
The last swap you had to purchase your partners Bento Box of choice.

I am not sure about the something to eat bit, as I shall be posting from the UK. Purchasing something to eat and sending it off might not be a good idea... or receiving something....I am not keen on candy.... can I veto the food bit please?

I am open to just about anything.. Although I don't like seafood.. other than that I am up to try just about anything

If customs are a problem for you then you don't have to send something to eat and can ask not to recieve it. Just make sure you send three items at least. :)

I'm new to this, so hopefully this isn't a stupid question. What happens if there's an odd number of people? Does someone get left out of the swap?

I am open to anything that does not contain coconut, sweet potatoes/yams, or durian.

Are we allowed to mention accessories as well? I really have no need for the mini sauce bottles since I just bought a pack of rectangle and fish bottles the other day. I hope this doesn't make me sound too finicky.

Suebee, as to the odd number: That's not a problem.

The participants of a swap do not get divided into pairs of people that send to each other. So, the person you send to will most likely be not the same who sends to you.

I didn't have time to go shopping for bento goodies last week, but I definitely have time this week! So long as I don't have to stay late at work...
