Description:

Fall is fast approaching, although it's hard to tell now in the heat of the end-day's of summer. In the interest of being more like the Ants than the Grasshoppers, here's a fun swap to get us all ready for the coming chill...

You will have just ONE partner, but you will send them at one of each of the items on the list below:

--A Pair of Legwarmers, to keep your partners feet warm

--A packet of tea, coffee or cocoa, to keep your partners belly warm

--A votive-sized candle, to keep your partners hearth warm

-- A small blanket, quilt or afghan (store-bought or handmade), to keep your partners loved ones warm

-- A list of ten happy thoughts to help keep your partners soul warm.

Items can be storebought or handmade, but should not be used. (Imagine...soggy teabags and old blankets!) Try to send what you would like to recieve and use the theme of "warmth" to really shower your partner with warm feelings. Aim for hearts!!

This is an easy, but not entirely inexpensive swap, so all participants MUST have a 4.75 rating or better. Newbies welcome, as long as they can provide me with a reference from a Swap-Bot user with a "4.75" rating or better.

"You will have just ONE partner, but you will send them at one of each of the items on the list below"

Do you mean at least one thing from the list of five?

Another suggestion for the list, a pair of (handmade) mittens, to keep your partner's hands warm.

Sorry, the bad-grammar Fairy attacked me when I posted this swap. The idea is to send ONE partner a package containing each item on the list: legwarmers, tea, etc.

Thank you for clarification.

Blanket seems to be heavy to send... and if I don't get to choose an alternative, I think I might well just opt out of this great swap this time...

Happy swapping for the rest of you though!

I would like this to be a swap people feel is reasonable, so how about this:

Sending a blanket-type object is NOT MANDATORY. You can send the other things on the list and skip the blanket. BUT....blankets are still an awesome way to get stars.

What do you think?

I think you mean hearts..but yeah, I kind of want to join this swap but I'd really like to receive a blanket :) On the other hand, I think it would probably attract more people if there were a longer list of things to send and people could choose between items.
