What was the very first song you learned and memorized in Nursery School, Kindergartern, or 1st Grade? Send the words (if you don't remember them, Google the song and go down memory lane...) to your partner along with a note or letter. Explain the song and what if you can recall, it meant to you then through the eyes of a young child and what it means to you now. Along with the song send something very small and symbolic representing the song and explain why it has meaning to you. The item should easily fit into an envelope. It could be something very basic, a tea bag, picture from a magazine, a quotation, a picture... Our positive memories, especially of our childhood are precious. We were so young and vulnerable, no matter how tough some of us thought we were. We depended on someone else to care for us. Zero tolerance for no-sends, undeserved ones inquire within. The protective Swap Mom in me has come out. It sucks being flaked on and this is a touchy feely swap with real emotions being shared and expressed. I don't want anyone feeling left out or cheated. |
