The I don't know what I'm doing Swap!

This is designed for Noobies, who've just signed up. I remember first signing up, and I wanted to do a few swaps, and I didn't have the credit. And I felt like a deer in headlights.

First off, Welcome to Swap-Bot. :).

Second: If you're swapper who's been here a while, and don't mind helping the noobs, you're welcome too.

Third: If you need to get your ratings up, You're also welcomed.

Alright, here is how it's going to work. You click the little "Join Swap' button on the lower left side of this box." Then, it'll take you do another screen, and hit the ' Yes,Sign me up! " link. Something will tell you in your e-mail inbox that you signed up if you did it right. If you're not sure if you want to join, but you still want to know what's goin on, click the " Watch This Swap" Button on the right.

I'm going to make this a small swap: You'll need 3 nice things to put in a standard envelope.

Nice things ideas:

• 2 or a couple more stickers. Make sure they're bigger stickers. No littler then a thumb nail. If they are small, put like 3 of them to make 1 sticker.
• a magnet
• a color in crafting floss
• a pen or pencil
• a little pad
• some sheets of stationary
• an pretty envelope
• a blank post card
• an ATC blank or not.
• stamps, used or not, depending on their profile.
• ribbon ( 4 inches or more)
• Something from your state/country. Like, if you get someone from another country, put some money in it. Or a little souvenir. nothing to extravagant.
• Or anything else you can think of.
• Make sure you mix things up. Don't send them 3 of one item.

Remember to make it personal. Check your partners profile. Write a little note. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE SWAP NAME AND YOUR SWAP NAME! So people can rate you :)

You can send more items for a heart.If your partner decides you put your all into something, they'll give you one. A heart means, you've just put your heart into it, and people realize that. Hearts are good, and the more hearts you have, it shows people you're a great swapper.

I will assign partners as soon as I can on the 14th. One thing I noticed on swap-bot, and I wish some one told me, is that you're going to send away to one person, and get something back from another. And I have no control over who gets who.

When you are ready to send, out on the 4th, or sooner There is a box on upper right corner, and in bold text there is a link what says "Click here when you have sent your items". Click confirm, and Ta DA! You've ALMOST completed your first swap!

Don't forget rate. Rate? What is this Rate? Click the "Rate your partners and coordinator" You'll go to another page. You can rate me, give me a star if you think I did good, or not if I sucked. And then your partner, the person that gave you stuff. They rating's explain eachother. Make a little blerb. If you gave you a heart, thank them. I think it's polite.
