Description:

You've heard of seven-layer brownies. . . now try seven-layer ATCs! It's pretty simple: you will have 2 partners to whom you will send one ATC each. The only requirement is that the ATCs have at last 7 layers on them (the main card counts). It should be fun to see how these come out! Embellishments like stickers, die-cuts, brads, etc do count as layers.

Two questions: 1) Are we supposed to write down (on the back or a separate piece of paper) what the layers are? It would probably be nice to know what causes the effects. 2) This one might be a little stupid, but as I'm a newbie I'd rather ask a dumb question than getting things wrong. Thing is: I wonder how tight rules are. For example: If I'd do a frottage, it would be one layer, right? Putting on a layer of chinese paper would also be one layer. Now, if I made a frottage on chinese paper and then stick that on: does it count as one or as two layers? Or is that up to my interpretation?

First of all--I'm so sorry I didn't check this sooner and answer your question! About the layers--I was thinking about that question of embossing, like if I stamp an image on paper and use embossing powder, does that count as 2 layers? I'd say yeah. And of course that's not a stupid question! Welcome!

If you want to list your layers, feel free! You don't have to, but I'm sure your partner would be interested in the info! :)
