Description:

Okay, let's get the ball rolling with this swap! The idea is that you send a letter every day for a week to one partner. So that everyone will get at least one letter a day for that week. I got this idea from @browniemommie2005 who has kindly given her permission for me to use it.

To begin with, get yourself armed with a supply of first class stamps and letter-writing bits and bobs. You begin on saturday by writing and posting a letter to your partner. (Though given that saturdays can be busy days, you might want to write the letter on friday and post it on saturday.) Sent by first class, the letter should (with the emphasis on "should") get to your partner on monday. Then you write and post a letter on monday, then again on tuesday and so on. Until the last letter is reveived on saturday.

It's not absolutely necessary to write a standard intro letter for your first one. Just have fun with it! By writing and sending a letter every day for a week, it will be like getting a very long letter in installments! If you want to include a postcard or use homemade or decorated envelopes, please do, but make sure that the weight of the envelope will not go over first class postage.

Best in mind that a standard first class postage stamp can be used for only 5mm thick or under, maximum weight of 100g or less, and for envelopes no larger than 610mm x 460mm x 460mm. Or; in old money, 3 and a half ounces and envelopes no larger than 24 inches x 19 inches x 18 inches.

Any questions, pm me or comment below. I will assign partners on the 19th and you post your first letter on the 21st. The last letter will be received on saturday 28th and then you can rate your partners.

Darn, that should read "Bear in mind that a standard first class postage stamp" etc.

Look up at the top of this page to the right - there should be an 'edit this swap' link. :)

sorry for sounding dum but do the letters go to the same person everyday or do we get a new partner everyday?

getoffthatspacehopper, your letters will go to the same person everyday. I thought about making it a new partner every time, but that would mean that everyone would have to sign up again every day.

Thanks Su!
