Description:

This is a study on the book of "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyer. Please read chapters 3-4 (Don't give up! and Little by Little). Read the scripture below before answering questions:

Chapter 3

1. Read Galatians 6:9

How can you regain territory you have lost to the devil?

2. Read Isaiah 43:2

What does God promise us regarding difficulties we experience?

3. Read Deuteronomy 1:2,6-8

A. Why did it take the Israelites forty years to make an eleven day journey? How does their problem relates to us today in our spiritual journey?

B. When God told the Israelites, "You have dwelt long enough on this mountain," what was He really saying? What is He saying to us today?

Chapter 4

1. Read Deuteronomy 7:22

Why did God tell the Israelites He would clear out their enemies this way?

2. Read 1 Peter 5:10

Why do we need to suffer "a little while"?

3. Read Romans 8:1

What can we learn from watching a baby's attempt to walk?

4. Read Psalm 42:5, James 1:4 KJV; Philippians 1:6, 2:13

A. What happens to hope and victory when we become discouraged?

B. What should you do to overcome condemnation and discouragement?

Optional questions: Is there anything that you have read that you think is not consistent with scripture? / Is there anything you read that you don't understand?

You will have one week to read the 2 chapters and send your answers to your partners. Partners will depend on how many sign up, but for now I will put it to 4, and if more sign up I will up the partners! Please let me know if you have any questions.
