Inspiration trim tags are so fun to receive, but even more fun to make! The possibilities are just endless. This swap will be for (2) two partners, creating (1) tag for each partner.

Use a large tag (approx. 6 inches by 3 inches) and wrap trim (ribbons, fibers, vintage seam binding, baker's twine or lace) around it. Next, tuck in some inspirational goodies between the trim. (Your goodies should be peeking out of the trim) The "goodies" should be craft supplies that will come in handy for your partner, inspiring them to make their next project. Think fun, think inspiration!

Here is an example of a trim tag I made for one of my partners.

ooooh pretty!! I have never seen one of these before. I am assuming (please correct me if I'm wrong) that the trims you wrap around are only secured lightly/temporarily to the tag so that the receiver takes the trims off to use themselves in other crafts, thus revealing the decorated tag underneath? Thanks, I want to make sure I do it right!

@crescendo - Correct! You can secure them with tape or tie them, or pins. See, you already know what's going on!! You can check out Etsy or Flickr for some other trim tags.
