Description: | |
This is a repeat of a swap done last year by @HydroNymph Lets get out of the mass-market marathon and holiday headaches around us and partake in the more sacred side of Christmas; the pagan one. This swap is designed to be from the heart not the wallet. What you send: Something from the earth (stone, crystal, wooden greenman figure, feather, herbs, leaves, himalaya salt etc) Something magickal (a few sticks of incense, magick candle, oil, a ritual piece of jewelry, herbal teas (or loose tea for divination), altar cloths, small besoms, altar bells, parchment and pens for ritual writing, herbs, etc.) Pease include a note telling your recipient why you chose the item as something magical. Something handmade and fitting the time (images of the sun, god/goddess, evergreens, fire, yule ornaments are some examples) And lastly a letter describing either a ritual you have done for the solstice, something you love about winter, a connection you have to old yule customs, or just describing simple ways of enjoying the holidays. Lastly I would like to ask that even though this is a fairly cheap and simple swap, you do put effort into it. Give your partner a spark in winters cold. Best Wishes and happy swapping! Please remember that sending on time IS a swap requirement. A late send will give your partner the automatic right to rate you 3. |
