Anyone a member of morgue file photo archive site? I adore it, and it is usually what inspires my crafts and photos. And already have ideas for outside the box.

Farstarr - did you find the site? I have used morguefile it seems like forever. It is a site where others post photos that are royalty free. Meaning yes you can use them. Most photographers will simply ask that you drop them a note or photo of how you used their pictures. Many build a portfolio of how their work has been used.

I could save every photo posted, and will look through all the beautiful photography for hours. My inspiration comes from saving a photo and then altering it, inverting colors, making it look like a pencil sketch, etc. Many of my ATC's will be photos (or partial photos) from morgue file and i reinvent them (by hand) usually with one specific palette.

Hi synuay...the photos for theses swaps are supposed to be taken by yourself...the challange of the swap is to find the items/objects for the theme. :)

Photos on their way from Scotland to Karenay (yes... from me again!) Sooticas Dreams and Bush-Happy_0.....we're still having postal strikes so I hope they're not delayed too much :)

Hi synuay, I did find the morgue files, but I think I like Flickr better...although you definitely cannot use those pictures without permission!

And yes, Yowell is correct. This swap is for photos we take ourselves. I thought that was clear, but maybe it wasn't...???

I took your advice, Yowell. I shut the flash off, but you can still see the wrinkles...I mean smile lines! :)
