Description:

Because I enjoyed these swaps so much, I have asked the original host for permission to continue. Thank you @Frogglin I hope you all will have as much fun as I did in creating these unique postcards!

For this swap, you will need 4 postcards and a pair of scissors. Also some glue! Aw man, it's like being 5 again. This would be perfect for cards you got in a batch and wondered who you would ever send em to.

Okay, so take your 4 postcards and cut them into 4 even pieces - cut all the cards the same way because NEXT you'll stick a piece from each card onto a backing. (I found that it's really easy paperclipping or binder clipping the postcards together, then cutting.)

Feel free to try "non-traditional" cuts as well!

This means your backing will have 1 piece from each card on it. Does that make sense?

You will have 4 new, interesting cards and 4 interesting partners to send to.

Now here's the nitty along with the gritty.

  • Card must be sent naked (that is, no envelope).
  • Therefore, stick those bits as down hard as you can!
  • This swap is open to anyone who has no unexplained 1 ratings in the past 3 months.
  • This swap is also open to newbies with a nice full profile (it doesn't really apply to this swap, but it's helpful for other swaps. Don't forget to include all the things you like, dislike even random things!)
  • This swap is international.
  • Postcards are SENDERS CHOICE.
  • I can Angel if need be, but certainly hope I don't have to :)

Don't forget to put your name on the back!

HINTS & TIPS from other swappers

  • I used the fronts of 4 different greeting cards with a similar theme instead of 4 post cards. Just make sure the end results are acceptable sizes for postcards. @CraftyTweetie

  • You can cut your cards in quarters in different ways. Cut them diagonally (like an "X") to form 4 triangles. Cut them from top to bottom into 4 equal size rectangles. Cut them from side to side into 4 equal size rectangles. @CraftyTweetie

  • I make these kind of PCs all the time with free ad cards. it's great fun! @lindall

  • Another great idea is to cut up used postcards. What a great idea for recycling those postcards that aren't wanted for a collection. @KnittingMystery
