Naked christmas card 2010

Would Christmas postcards be OK?

i am really looking for christmas cards for this swap, sorry :-(

I'm not sure if this would really work unless you glued the back and front together or taped it up securily. If it is left open I think it will likely get cought in the machinery or otherwise torn. just my thoughts.

It would probably work if you put close the card with one of those circle stickers (like for pricing at a garage sale) - I get advertising mail that way sometimes. It couldn't be a homemade card made from a piece of paper folded twice; if you did this the corners would be loose, and would get jammed. Storebought cards would be the best.

Use your imaginations how you can send the card, this swap is all about having a bit of christmas fun, maybe you dont want to stick the ends together? maybe you want to take your chances!!

I don't understand why send a card naked? I thought it was a postcard swap, then I thought you wanted unsigned cards for the partner to use. I'm confused, but then that's my normal state, LOL!

Surprised you didn't say to seal the envelope around all open borders. I totally get the idea of sending a card naked and I think I like it (!), but I don't see the point in taking your chances with the machinery, or addling the poor postman/-woman who has to wrestle with odd-shaped mail all Christmas, or letting the world read your message (unless that's your thing? Must be one exciting message!).... I dunno. I still want to join but I'll be sealing mine with deco tape all the way around. :D

how many actual christmas cards do you see stamped and postmarked? these cards might be something to treasure!

This sounds like fun, I get mail all the time (junk mail, that is haha) that's a folded card with a little clear sticker to close it up. This might be a fun way to mail out all my cards this year at Christmas! Family will be asking me "What'd you turn the envelopes into? You didn't use any this year for cards, so what did you make??" hehe
