I've started this swap to help new members get a quick mail rating, because I can remember how anxious I was to hear that my first postcard had arrived. You will send 1 postcard to your partner, and on the back you will write the answer to a question without telling them what the original question was. For example, if I decided that my question was "When did you last cut your toenails?" I would write TUESDAY on the card. Because I did. If I decided that my question was "What is your favourite song by the Beatles?" I would write I HATE THE BEATLES on the card. Because I do. Sorry :D Other example answers are: 'In the kitchen while my cat watches', 'Tuesday mornings, Friday mornings but never on a Wednesday afternoon' and 'Sandwiches'. When your partner receives the card they will need to rate you (see what I did there?) to find out the original question which will put the answer in context. You can either tell them, or forever leave them guessing for kicks but the first option is probably nicer! This is going to be a fairly quick swap, and as it's focused on new users unrated swappers are obviously welcome. Established swappers are very welcome, as well :) I'll pm and possibly ban anyone I get a bad feeling about, because even though you'd think postcards aren't attractive to flakers apparently they are. Nice decorations, stickers and cute drawings to illustrate or torment your partner as to what the question might be would be very much appreciated. However, the minimum requirement is that it contains the answer to a question- don't forget to add your username and the swap title. This is my first time hosting a swap, so be patient :) xxx Before you ask: yes, dead cat cards are fine! |
