Description:

Like many people were I live I put up a tree for the winter holidays. The decorations reflect my personal spiritual beliefs and those of my family. Over the years I have made and collected many pagan ornaments and I thought it would be nice to make and swap ornaments with my swap friends. Because I work with the elements and they are heavily used in many groups and by solitaries I am putting up one ornament swap for each of the elements and the Lord and Lady. For this swap you will make one tree ornament that represents the element Spirit and send one bit of information on how you celebrate Yule or the Winter solstice. The ornament can be made out of any marital of sturdy construction. The ornament should be no smaller than 3” and have a hanger. Please package carefully and don’t forget to rate. To rate is such a nice way to say thank you. Also for this swap please, post if you don’t use pentacles or what symbol you do use. A symbol on your ornament is not a requirement of this swap. Nor is not using a pentacles or your partners symbol but it would be a shame for you to do all that work and have them not use it on their tree.

Swap requirements.

  1. make one ornament with the theme spirit that is no smaller than 3” and has a hanger

  2. a short note on how you celebrate Yule or the Winter Solstice

  3. you must have a rating of 4.8 or higher and be in good standing with the group

  4. please, post if you don’t use pentacles or what symbol you do use when you sign up and check your swap partner post.

*The use of a pentacle or not using it or your partners personal symbol for Spirit is not a requirement just a kindness.

I use all kinds of symbols on my tree. So feel free to use a symbol from your own tradition or practice.
