Extra! Extra! Read all about it! This is the second round of this international swap.

Have you ever wondered what was on the front page of a newspaper in another town or even another country? If so, this quick and easy INTERNATIONAL swap is for you. Just tear the front pages from three copies of your local newspaper and mail one page to each of your partners.

It should be interesting to see what the news and photos are from another city, town, village, province or country ... even if you can't read the language.

What do I send? The front page of your local newspaper.

Please try to make sure that complete stories are in the section

How many partners? 3

Am I eligible to participate? Newbies welcome with a completed profile. No 'no sends' allowed. If you're rated, must be a 4.5 or higher.

Thanks for looking at this swap!

This is a great idea for a swap!!! I have been on bed rest for 10 YEARS now ordered by numerous doctors due to very complicated health issues so I spend my life enclosed in my little place and my DREAM has always been to travel the world!! I am trying to start a scrapbook that this swap will be perfect for: below is just a little bit of what I have written in my profile so you will see what I mean!!

"I am starting a travel book with all information I gather from sources(like Swap-bot partners or friends) and will put it all together in a sort of simple scrapbook way. That way on days I hurt terribly I can just go traveling through my book. The neatest part of traveling is always all the PEOPLE you meet and I can't duplicate that myself....that is why I am hoping that people will read this and in their own way meet me in my travels! I REALLY HOPE that this works for me and people will help me accomplish this!!"

There is more on my profile - I'm JojoSwaps. I thought about just pulling stuff off the internet and from books getting information but that really would make it feel like a research book more than a travel guide because I wouldn't have the feeling of interacting with people in different places in the world.

I am so excited about this swap!!! I will have a few things for my book(when I say I am starting...I mean JUST starting - I have a few postcards, a pressed penny, a Canadian flag, some brochures my hubby brought home from his office).

And thanks to SUEFITZ for thinking of the swap!!! I went to my profile right away and added newspapers from people's home towns(where they are living) to my ideas of travel things to send!! Thank you!!!

I hope all of you enjoy this swap too.

Have a good Monday and a great week!!!!! ~Jodie

you said it was optional to enclose the rest of the story from the main page if it was continued on another page. i kind of cant see the point in sending the front page if you dont get the full article. can you change that to a must send the rest of the story??? just wondering. :) sure if it arrives in a language i cant read fair enough but if its in english then i might want to read the full thing, i am sure i am not alone in that thinking.
