Felt-a-manics keeps every little piece of craftfelt they have, you never know when you need that little scrap :) This is a swap for all of us who have too many small pieces of craftfelt and likes a challange. Youรยดll create a Christmasthemed wallhanging for your partner in craftfelt and embroidery. Craftfelt is fairly cheap to buy compared to woolfelt so this is not an expensive project, but itรยดll take some time and you need a lot of creativity. The wallhanging can be from 8 x 8 inches and up and you need to add some kind of hanger (homemade or store bought). So, you can sew lots of small parcels, a decorated Christmastree, a winterlandscape - anything you think is suitable for a Christmas wallhanging. Go wild with your fantasy and use all your embroideryskills! The easiest way to make the wallhanging sort of sturdy is probably to attach craftfelt on the backside and stitch both sides together with buttonholestitch for example. So, youรยดll have 1 (one) partner and send out 1 (one) Christmasthemed wallhanging thatรยดs in felt and embroidery. To be able to participate you need 25 ratings from craftswaps, good knowledge in handsewing and a creative mind. Swappers who has lower than a 5.0 rating need to contact me prior to signing up, unfair and well explained low ratings should not hinder a truly good swapper. The picture is just a gorgeous one I found on google for inspiration :) Please feel free to ask questions and happy swapping! |
