I just had a question if I'm from the us and sending a naked postcard to another country whats the postage I should put on it or should I just take it to the the post office?

Ok I just joined a swap----and I'm not sure how I go about getting the address of ther person I need to send a PC too. Help?!

CoCoLogo - The US postage for a postcard to all countries other than Canada and Mexico is $0.94. To Canada it is $0.75 and to Mexico it is $0.79. There are specific stamps for these amounts or you can use two $0.44 (or forever stamps) and a $0.10 stamp to make the international rate (or use old stamps if you have them to make the Can & MEX (rates).

MEDFORD8330 - When the signup period is over there will be a link in the upper right hand yellow box on this page that says "See the partners you send to". This will open a new window with your senders name and address and a link to their profile.

wow, you are so right Savannahjan... brain burp!!! International postage from America to any other country (other than Canada & Mexico) is $0.98. That's what I get for not rereading my posts before clicking "Leave comment" :) thanks!

Does a postcard purchased on Etsy (very nicely printed, totally blank on one side) count as store-bought for this swap?

I was wondering do we have to put AIR MAIL on overseas post cards. I would think everything goes by air today not like years ago.

The host of this swap hasn't been online in a month...

great - my partner @cortx hasn't logged in since Feb 19, never even been rated & the host isn't replying to my messages.

Kayler00, I've had the same with the host and my partner from the Feb swap who flaked on me for Angellica's 2011 PC Swap #2 - February. Although the host finally logged into this site, she has not read my message.

She's read mine & hasn't written me back. So, I guess I won't be getting a postcard for this swap. =/ I don't understand, if someone is going to make a swap - make sure you'll be logged in & can go through everyones profiles!

@Kayler00 I sent to cortx and I was wondering if she would flake....some hosts do a skip and have the flaker skipped and their sender send to their partner. At any rate-PM me your addy and I will send you a card! = )

I got my address to send a postcard. I thought I was sending it somewhere not in the U.S., because that's where I am. I am going to send it, just curious if I misunderstood. :o)

Naked, you send it written & stamped - not in an envelope.

& Swap Bot randomly assigns the partners, so you never know who you'll send to. Or, where.
