Description:

Wanna feel like a kid again??? How about making an ATC by only using paint and a drinking straw! Make one ATC for one partner using a drinking straw as your brush. I "borrowed" different sized straws from the local watering hole, but any grocery store should carry them. Watered down acrylic paints, watercolors, or inks work really well for this. Make sure the card is thick enough for lots of liquid (watercolor paper should do). Blow, splatter, and guide the paint with your breath...even the tip of the straw can be used for detail. Let that blob of paint do what it wants and get inspiration from it. The images created can go anywhere! Please include info about the card on the back of it.

I'll be checking profiles for good standing. You must have a rating of 4.7 or higher, as long as any low ratings are older than six months (we have to recoup somehow). Newbies are welcome with thoroughly filled profiles.

Have fun swapping!

Are these rules hard and fast? Am I allowed to make the patterns and shapes with paint and a straw and then draw over the shapes with pen?

Try to use the straw as much as possible. Part of the challenge is getting out of your comfort zone and seeing what the paint wants to do. Sometimes we can't force it. I see it as a Rorschach ink blot. Everyone will see it differently. My example was done by straw, 100%.
