Description:

This is a Crafting Queens swap where we will be swapping button bracelets with your partner. There are many different ways that you can make your bracelet, BUT you must MAKE the bracelet yourself. The first step will be to note your bracelet size and any allergies in the swap comments. The next step will be to check your partners’ bracelet size and possible allergies. This is NOT a profile specific swap, BUT you must make the bracelet to size for your partner. The ONE exception is if your partner did not note their size or allergies in the swap comments, then you can use your best judgment.

You can make your bracelet using a chain and attaching buttons to make it a button charm bracelet. Embroidery floss works beautifully to make your bracelet. Elastic cord is another option. You can sew your buttons to a wide ribbon, with ribbon ends to attach a clasp and then cover the back of the ribbon with fabric or felt to make it smooth. It is okay to use button stacks on your bracelet.

For this swap quality counts. Please make certain that you use only clean buttons and components. Vintage buttons are great; just wash them with gentle soap and water before using the buttons. If you are unsure of how to do a technique, please PM me and I will be happy to help you.

Minimum Requirements: Must be a sturdy bracelet using: At least 20 buttons Ribbon, chain or elastic cord Clasp or closure or elastic cording

I will be checking profiles closely. If you have any recent 1’s or 3’s please PM me to explain the circumstances prior to joining the swap. Please PM me any questions and I will help you in any way that I can.

You must have a minimum 4.95 rating to join this swap.

I wear a 8" bracelet and I am allergic to wool.

I wear a 6" long bracelet. A wee bit bigger is fine; however, I do have small wrists.

7.5" to 8" works for me :)

Thank you Elizabeth....you are too kind. I am so glad to see everyone joining the swap. I think it will be really fun. I love button bracelets.

I wear a size 7.5"

7.5 " works for me too. I like it a little loose.I have just made one as a practice. I love it. Can't wait to see what my swap partner makes for me. Can't wait to find out what size wrist they have too. I would make it right now,but it mighn't fit so I'll wait, but it is a tad like busting for the toilet right now!

I have to drop this swap due to time constraints (I don't think I can do my best at the moment!)

7 1/2' to 8" bracelet would be great!

Gofeen 01/21/2011 #

Around 8 inches is great for me.

7 1/2 to 8 inch works for me.... I prefer bracelets that are not snug to my wrist.
