Black History Month journal

February is Black History Month. In honor of this month, we will be putting together a notebook/journal/scrapbook. For this swap, you will have one partner. You will put together a book for your partner over the course of the month. This book can be generated on the computer (using a service such as lulu - the final product must be bound) or you can buy a notebook or journal and handwrite in it.

In the book, you will include the following:

1. The name and a 500 word (minimum) bio of an African American civil rights activist whom you admire.
2. A list of 5 novels in which the main character(s) are either African or African American.
3. 500 words about why you think it's important to commemorate Black History Month.

This swap is only open to swap-bot members who live in the US and have a rating of 4.85 or better.
