Whether you are new to zines or a pro, this is a swap to share your unique mini-zine and also send each other your comments. This is a great way to start out if you are new to this or help each other with ideas and tips. In this swap you will create a mini-zine and send to 5 partners. Can be color or black-and-white, pics or text, whatever you like! Format is also your choice - make it unique to you!! Journal style, mini-articles, photos, recipes, news, opinions, absolutely anything goes!! Newbies are welcome, we all had to start somewhere!! Just no flakers please. I will angel if needed but it shouldn't even be an issue right?? So do we write on the pages inside or leave them blank so our partners can use them?

You make them a zine. It can be any theme. I have recieved many different types of zine from information ones to random ideas. Sky is the limit.

Pancakes, Usually they are not blank but filled with your creation (writing, pictures, artwork, quotes, anything you'd like to share) Think of it like a mini magazine. It doesn't have to be in color, it can be b&w photocopied. Some are elaborately embellished with stickers or glued in items (usually lightweight and flat). I suppose you could make a blank one, but at least border the pages with artwork or include a line of inspiration to get the reader started on their own writing or drawing for the pages. What ever your creative bone wants to do:)

I love getting them because people share what THEIR interests are. It's fun to read about things that are new to me. Some people make lists of favorite things (books, song lyrics, youtube links) or share pictures of the things they collect.
