Description:

For this swap you will decorate and fill a 32 ct (small) matchbox with the theme: Purple, Yellow, Green and Gold.

I think it's just such a fun color combination.

There are endless possibilites of things you can fill the matchbox with but here are some ideas: brads, eyelets, ribbon, little figures, confetti, stickers, buttons, etc..

Please spend time decorating the matchbox and send things that you would love to get yourself. I would recommend looking at your partner's profile to see what things they like for more ideas of what to put in their matchbox.

This swap is international. This swap is open to swappers with ratings of 4.5 or higher. I reserve the right to drop anyone from this swap at my discretion.

Recently some of my swaps and swap descriptions have been copied word for word or almost word for word. This is disrespectful and rude. I put effort into creating and hosting my swaps and I do not appreciate my work being copied or my name being maligned or even used to bolster someone else's reputation. Please don't copy my swaps! And please, don't be fooled by the imitations or plagiarized versions. Thank you.

Hi Ellawitch !

This sounds like a great theme. My only problem is I've never found 32c matchboxes in France. I've only seen 20c or 80c. I've some time ahead to look for the proper matchbox size, but if I don't happen to find a genuine 32c, can I decorate either a 20c or a 80c ? (a 80c means more surprises inside the box!)

cheers,

Nana from Paris

i don't think it's a problem at all to send a larger matchbox at all.

KimyCate that was my thoughts exactly! and Nana you can find templates for matchboxes online. i use a template from mirkwooddesigns and make my own boxes.

wow, i don't really sign up for matchbox swaps anymore but considering green, yellow, and gold are my favorite colors, this makes it pretty meant to be! thanks! looking forward to this!

I've never done a matchbox swap, but when I saw the colors on this one I could not resist. Can someone tell me what weight cardstock you'd recommend if i wanted to make my own matchboxes? Thanks
