Description:

This is a 2-way list swap. You will send TWO lists to 2 different participants (they can be the same two lists!). The first list will be 10 pieces of great advice. They might be things your mother told you, or things you've learned the hard way and want to pass on. They could be simple things ('always check the pockets of your jeans before throwing in the washing machine'...) to bigger things ('always be the first one to say 'I'm sorry'). The second list is a happiness-list. List 10 things that make you happy! Try and be as specific as possible (ie don't write 'love'). Try and think of things that your partner would enjoy receiving! Both lists should be hand-written, and please write/decorate your list in such a way that your partner will want to put it up on her fridge! Take out your best pens (scissors, papers, scraps...) and create some nice, colourful, inspiring lists! Go on, let's share some wisdom! NB: this is an international swap!

I think this is a great idea! I can always use some good advice.

this sounds great, but could we please add the "art" around the wise advice as a must? it would be more fun to know we can put these lists on the fridge/door, they could be great magnets, hangings, no?

THIS IS A GOOD IDEA! THANK YOU

I've changed the date now, and expanded on the 'decorating the list' bit. Thanks for your advice!

It says both lists should be hand-written. Err..my handwriting is a bit on the illegible side, and even when I take my time to write carefully, it's not exactly something someone would want on their fridge. Could I just print it out, with maybe a nice font, and then decorate the list by hand?

I think that sounds acceptable... what use is good advice if you can't read it ;-)

i received one today from a state-local!!!

I love the advice, I think it is really greeat and plan to immediately follow some of it. specifically: 1,8,9,10. I am a huge follower of 2,3,4,5. I am the least worrier I've ever met.

I received lists from only one participant, but it was anonymous. No name, no adress. So I don't know who to rate what...
