@colecreations hosted a swap using this technique and I enjoyed it very much. I thank her for letting me share it with our group! Iris folding is a fun and easy paper folding technique that can be used to make greeting cards, on scrapbook or journal pages, on ATC's or designs can be framed and hung on a wall. It's name comes from the way the folds create a center that looks kind of like the iris of a camera lens. The design has a raised, 3-dimensional quality that is hard to describe. It's unusual looking and beautiful. The online photos don't do it justice, but please google for pictures... and ideas. This site contains a good tutorial as well as some free patterns. Iris Folding What you will do: send one Iris Folded project to one partner. Choose any of the free patterns you would like to try. Make a card, ATC, or other offering.
