Gently used Children's Books

This is my attempt at a "green" kids swap. We'll see what kind of response I get.

My son is 3 yrs old but he LOVES books. We have two whole shelves of children's books in our office and he's got another bookshelf full of books in his room (what can I say? He takes after his Mama.)

For this swap you will have one partner and you will send one gently used children's picture book. No rips, no tears, no marks in the book, etc. This should be "gift quality" but something you already have on hand.

The book should be at least 10 pages long (none of those fast food child's meal freebies) and should have illustrations for those of us who have kids that can't read. I'm not going to put an age requirement on it but the books should be appropriate for kids of a younger age (the twilight illustrated novel or things of that nature is not appropriate for younger kids..) :o)

I'm also not going to dictate whether it be hardback or paperback, but (as I'm sure I don't have to remind you) make sure it's something the recipient would enjoy. Also, make sure the book is in English. I know I'm eliminating some people but this is supposed to be something you have on hand and I have a very limited number of books in my household that are in a language other than English.

This will be a child to child swap so make sure you either put your child's info (age, name, gender) in your profile or post it in the comment section. Also, since we want our children to be involved include a letter or a picture, or small craft, etc. from your child in with the book.

I will angel this, but I will NOT be happy about it. This is for kids folks so lets please keep this in mind before you sign up...no heartbroken children on my watch...

I will allow newbies to join with a fully completed profile but please no recent 1's or 3's.

Since I'm still relatively new to swap-bot I'm limiting this swap to USA and Canada. If I get a good enough response from members I'll probably host a similar international swap.
